Friday, March 23, 2007: Last Sunday we went looking at houses and it went fairly well. Most of the homes we saw were around Stoughton in rural areas. There is one in Stoughton that we're fairly interested in. Tonight will take us more into Stoughton (I believe). We've had a few showings since listing our house but no offers as of yet. There is a showing scheduled tonight. We'll see what happens with that. I booked my trip to Denver to see Caly and Jimbo. It will be a short trip but I'm sure it will be fun. Terry and I plan on flying out there after our niece/nephew is born and spending a little more time out there. posted by Maryanne @ 8:12 AM | | Sunday, March 11, 2007: Fan Festing We had a lot of fun this weekend at Fan Fest. Sarah was especially well behaved and put up with a lot of standing in line and waiting. Things seemed to go smoothly compared to the previous year that we went. Upon entering the Atrium, we received a booklet that contained the schedule of events along with 4 tickets for autographs. There was a designated area to trade tickets. During each autograph session there was the rule that there were no posed photos and only one item could be autographed (although there were a few instances where players autographed two items). What used to be a three day event was cut to two days and it made a big difference. As you can see it was a fun but exhausting weekend for all ages. posted by Maryanne @ 5:41 PM | | Friday, March 02, 2007: Yakety schmakety The past few weeks have been filled with getting our house ready to sell, vomit, snot, and whanot...Sarah and I are battling the respiratory virus that is floating around. She appears to be the sterotypical snot-nose kid and her eyes are seepy. It's not a pretty sight. My hope is that we're (mostly her) both in tip top shape to enjoy our fun filled Packer Fan Fest weekend. I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about the upcoming Wisconsin primary. We're not even half way in to 2007 and the election craziness has started. Who would I like to see win? I'm not sure. I don't know enough about Obama and his politics. There was a comment made somewhere (I can't remember where) that there's the fear that his presidency would mirror that of Jimmy Carter, he doesn't have enough experience. Hillary already served her presidency. Rudy Giuliani...other than the events of 9/11 and thereafter, I don't know much about him either....John McCain, I voted for him last election but sadly he was dropped. Guess we'll have to see what happens. posted by Maryanne @ 7:15 PM | | Thursday, March 01, 2007: Eye Candy
