Having a baby changes everything...
and I mean everything. Ok, I might be exaggerating a bit. This past week/weekend gave me a mini vacation from work. I don't know how much you would actually consider it a vacation other than that I didn't go in to work. Sarah and I came down with the flu bug that has been going around. My suffering only lasted about 24 hrs. Poor Terry had to take care of both of us on Thursday -Thank God for his flex schedule. Friday was the worst day for Sarah. She had a fever for a good portion of the day and all she wanted was to be held and sleep. Yes, I have been wanting a baby that loves to cuddle and be held, but does it have to be only when she's sick?! Nevertheless, Sarah is on the road to a slow recovery (after two visits to Urgent Care and a trip to her pediatrician today). My hope is to be back to work tomorrow but we'll see how that goes.
This has put a little dent in our time line for putting our house on the market. We rescheduled our appointment with Kari for Tuesday of next week. Hopefully we'll be in good shape then.

Weekend update
This weekend doesn't feel like it's been very productive. We've probably accomplished more than we think, looking back. Yesterday we took Sarah to my parent's house so we could do some errands and get some work done in the house. We probably spent more time in Madison than we should have but none the less got what we needed and some. What did we get done?
1. Painting was finnished in the bathroom
2. Most of the baseboard moulding is up in the master bedroom
3. Closet doors from the master bedroom are downstairs and one is painted (the other is waiting due to lack of space).
4. Cleaning in various parts of the house...although, more needs to be done.
This past week I talked to Kari and she will be coming on the 20th to look at our progress and see if we're ready to list. My hope is that we will be ready but time will tell.

Fan Fest
Wooo hooo!!! It's been confirmed that we're going to Fan Fest this year. It will be Sarah's first Lambeau experience! I hope that she will be able to show her ability to say "touchdown!"

Latest Adventure
Those of you that read Terry's blog know that we are in the process of getting our house ready to sell and buy a new one. It's the latest bug that has got up my butt (according to Terry). The reason? Ok *sigh*, I'm frustrated with the things that we gave up when we got the house. Small kitchen, no garage, small bedrooms. After meeting with our mortage broker, we found out that we can afford more house for not much more than what we're paying now. My hope is that this adventure won't deter our goal (at least my goal) is to be able to work part time in the next couple of years. If we budget our money correctly this shouldn't be a problem.
That's it for now, gotta start cleaning...more updates to follow.
